Frequently Asked Questions
This number is in the unlimited. Instead of limiting the number of respondents, we limit the time a questionnaire is online. This is basically 3 months, then we would like to clean up the database. A survey can be extended.
We consider the results of a questionnaire as proprietary information of the initiator. ThesisTools Pro does not use this data, we do not publish it, we do not analyze it and we will not provide it to third parties. The data is only from and to you. The only exception to this is that the data is stored in the database and backups thereof, but only for the website to function normally.
Yes, after a survey has been created and published, you can receive a link (url / internet address). This can be copied in an email, (news) letter etc.
The address of the survey is only known to you and is nowhere to be published. If you want to spread a questionnaire through, for example, the respondent panel, you should explicitly state this.
Yes, it is always possible to customize a questionnaire. When a survey has changed, it’s important to re-publish it, only then will the new version be online.
At the time of publishing, a new version will be launched in which all new results will be saved. Results of the change are thus saved in a separate file. Thus it remains clear to who asked what questions have been asked.

By default, we will not send dozens or hundreds of emails. All results are stored in a database and can be downloaded from the website. Eventually, the results are in one file, but each respondent will see what has been filled in per question.
This is not mandatory, it is voluntary. We like to send a thesis to us. As an example for other students. But more that respondents see what has happened to the survey they have completed.
Additional services allow a subdomain to be set for each research. This is free of charge. Also, your own web domain can be registered, a survey will receive a completely own .nl or .com address. This latter option is associated with registration costs; This service can also be found with the additional services.
This can be indicated with additional services and is free of charge
ThesisTools Pro is initially a tool for collecting data and compiling a questionnaire. Analyzing the results is a follow-up step. In order not to be obsessed with substantive statistical questions, which are basically separate from thesistools.com, we can not answer these questions.
With the paid variant, only the questionnaire is visible, without any indication of ThesisTools Pro about it. A free questionnaire contains a limited number of references to ThesisTools Pro around the survey. Above and below the questionnaire there is a bar and the thank you page for sponsors and advertisers.
This can be done with the function and elementary route, which you will encounter when compiling a survey. Importantly, the routing works on page basis. So, you can set the routing on any page at any request. Visitors can then simply fill in the entire page and the routing will only be active when the respondent clicks to the next page.
There is also an element offline in the list of question types. Add this, publish the questionnaire and the questionnaire is offline. Visitors no longer get a flat error message, a survey not found, but your message why the questionnaire is no longer available.
Technical is very much possible. The survey tool itself has been developed as intuitively as possible, leaving out-of-the-job functionality. If you have special wishes or ambitions about specific functionalities, please contact us! Often, much more than you can expect!
